IWEKART: A Connected commerce Platform for Women Entrepreneurs 
The COVID-19 pandemic laid bare the persistent and deep-rooted challenges of ensuring equitable commerce outcomes for Women Entrepreneurs. As a global society we were forced to face the fact that, even in the 21st century Industrial Revolution 4.0, communities around the world still lack basic digitization platform that is commercially viable because of underfunding in digital infrastructure and platforms for women entrepreneurs. Women find it hard to start and expand their own eCommerce business due to lack of dedicated time, limited access to capital, and restricted mobility. With minimum investments, ease of working from home, global reach and the empowerment that comes in, the need of hour is an online marketplace with connected commerce for women entrepreneurs. It challenged us all – public and private sector alike – to re-think the status quo and rebuild and reinvest in more equitable and affordable connected eCommerce platform for Women Entrepreneurs and thus - iwekart.com.

• Handhold women artisans and organizations through this entirely new experience, initial training workshops are conducted on how to manage their businesses online.
